Study in the UK

Studies in the United Kingdom have long been regarded as one of the most prestigious in the world. Universities such as Oxford or Cambridge seek out the brightest individuals, so securing a place at one of these universities is comparable to winning a lottery.

The team at Avy College will guide you in crafting a compelling personal statement and, if necessary, enhance your selection of extracurricular activities to help you receive an offer from a university and begin your studies in the UK.

While the application process for UK universities is not complicated, your achievements, along with your personal statement and a letter of recommendation from your teacher, will play the most crucial role in your application. Receiving an acceptance letter is possible only if all elements of your application work together, with perfection being the common standard.

At Avy College, we will assist you in:

• writing an effective personal statement
• planning your letters of recommendation
• choosing your extracurricular activities
• filling in the application system

In addition to application documents, universities in the UK require you to pass the Polish Matura with specified results. You do not need to study in an IB program to apply to universities in the UK; the Polish Matura is accepted just as well as other equivalent exams. However, it is essential to remember that universities often clearly outline their requirements and strictly adhere to them. If you apply to top universities, your scores in individual subjects should be at least 90%.

Since the application process for studying in the UK begins in the final year of high school (even before the Matura), receiving an offer from a university does not guarantee admission. UK universities admit students based on predicted results, which makes your performance in high school significantly influence the success of your application.
